Using Behavior Science in UX Design to support Patients

And what does THE PATIENT think about these digital-driven changes? In this Workshop, we work out hands-on a prototype (sketches in Miro) for a predefined patient journey. The focus will be to use Design Thinking Methods and on implementing Behavior Science knowledge to support the Patient in treatment decisions.

Behavior Change Design - A Practical Approach to Achieving Health Outcomes with digital products

It has been estimated that individual behavior contributes to 40% of all health outcomes. A focus on changing behavior remains an imperative strategy for reducing the rising burden of long-term conditions and health inequalities at scale. To support Users with their individual challenges of habit change toward better health- or treatment supporting lifestyle, technology can help. In this workshop, we will learn the Behavior Design Methodology, the COM-B Model for Understanding Behavior, Cognitive Biases, and the Persuasive System Design Framework to add habit-forming interventions in digital products. For this workshop session, we will train Behavior Design ideas solutions as mock-ups on a Miro Board. The health problems in this workshop will be real.
