Born and raised in Teheran, Darya graduated in Computer Science in Pisa, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. She continued her training with a Master in Strategy & Corporate Governance at the Department of Economics of Pisa. As a technological entrepreneur, she has created several high-tech companies over the years, both in Italy and abroad.Darya is currently partner and CEO of Daxo Group, CEO of Daxolab and President of Dcare, a company specialized in IoT technologies for hospital information systems. She has been the Innovation Councilor for the city of Livorno, playing a crucial role in the transformation process of Livorno into a Smart City. She has been President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria and Vice President of Confindustria of Livorno, where she was responsible for the research projects. She is a visiting professor at the Universities of Pisa, Siena and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. In addition to scientific papers, she is the author of “Donne 4.0”, a book about her personal experience as a digital entrepreneur and a mother, written with the aim of encouraging and motivating younger generations.
