Sahra-Josephine Hjorth, CEO at CanopyLAB and faculty at SingularityU Nordic, will share her perspectives on the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence in learning and discuss her vision of an inclusive and technology-fueled future of learning.
Participants will walk away understanding two crucial points:
That people learn in different ways and to create successful learning experiences online, it’s not enough to simply offer learners different content. We also have to enable them to learn in different ways, based on their motivations and how they learn best. As a result learning systems must be adaptive in terms of content AND learning methodology.
Artificial Intelligence hasn’t matured to a stage where we will see widespread use within learning the next couple of years, but there is an Artificial Intelligence and learning revolution on the way. At CanopyLAB was are experimenting with how AI makes it easier for HR departments and learning designers to create courses, and how an AI can provide individual learners with more individualized support.
It is essential that we give people the opportunity to learn in a way that suits them, not in a way that is designed to suit a large group of people. And this is where new technologies play a big role.
