Singularity University Unites Global Community on SingularityU Hub Mobile App to Accelerate Development of Solutions for World’s Biggest Problems​

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF. – May 11, 2017 – Singularity University (SU), a global community with a mission to educate, inspire, and empower leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges, today announced the availability of SingularityU Hub, a new mobile phone application that combines an online directory of SU’s global community with access to the Singularity Hub content and media portal, as well as information about global SU events and community activities around the globe. The SU global community currently numbers close to 120,000 entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and individuals, spanning over 115 countries and 65 volunteer chapters who share a passion for bringing technology innovations to bear on solving the world’s greatest challenges.

For the first time in a mobile app, SU past program participants as well as those with great innovation ideas or with an interest in using emerging or exponential technologies to help the world will be able to:

  • Create profiles outlining their interests, opinions, and activities
  • Find, see and contact each other via various social networking platforms
  • Search on profiles looking for common interests or across cities, countries and regions
  • Read about and view the latest breakthroughs in such areas as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, digital biology, nanotechnology, robotics, autonomous transportation, etc, from experts in these fields
  • Learn of the impact these advances are having on such areas as medicine, education, the environment, and our water and food supply

The SingularityU Hub as described above is available for Apple devices and Android devices. In the very near future, additional features including being able to present your work and making requests to the community, will also be available.
